Brew & Baker's is a specialty coffee kitchen in South Bopal, Ahmedabad. Every cup starts with export-quality Chikkamagaluru beans, ground to order and pulled on an Italian Rancilio Classe 5, then delivered across Bopal, Shela, SG Highway, Prahlad Nagar and Satellite.
Two coffees, one origin
All our coffee comes from Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, the hills where coffee first grew in India. We buy from an export-only roaster who supplies export-quality beans, the top size and quality grade of Indian Arabica, through a long-standing private partnership.

The B&B Blend: aged in ex-whisky oak
Our house blend includes Chikkamagaluru beans rested in ex-whisky oak barrels before roasting. The green beans take on the barrel's aroma, and roasting keeps the flavour while leaving zero alcohol: dark chocolate and caramel with a soft oak finish. It is the base of our 18-hour cold brew, and you can add it as an extra shot to any drink for ₹30.
Medium-dark, for Indian milk and Indian heat
We roast medium-dark because it holds its body through milk and over ice. It brings out cocoa, caramel and jaggery sweetness without the burnt bitterness of a dark roast or the sharp acidity of a light one.
The bar: Rancilio Classe 5
- Espresso machine: two-group Rancilio Classe 5, a commercial Italian machine built for steady brew temperature across a busy service.
- Grinders: two HeyCafe grinders, one per coffee: the Buddy for our 100% Arabica and the Jackfor the B&B Blend, so no flavour carries over.
- Shot standards: single 30 ml, double 60 ml, triple 90 ml, ground fresh for every order.
18 hours, never heated
Coarse-ground B&B Blend steeps in cold filtered water for 18 hours. No heat means very low acidity and no bitterness: smooth cocoa, molasses and oak, served without sugar. Regular 240 ml ₹169, Large 340 ml ₹209.

Where do Brew & Baker's coffee beans come from?
All our beans are export-quality 100% Arabica from Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, sourced directly from an export-only roaster.
What is the B&B Blend?
Our house blend of Chikkamagaluru beans, part of which is aged in ex-whisky oak barrels before roasting. It tastes of dark chocolate, caramel and oak, and contains zero alcohol.
Does the whisky barrel-aged coffee contain alcohol?
No. The beans take on aroma from the barrel, and the alcohol does not survive roasting. Every drink is alcohol-free.
What espresso machine do you use?
A two-group Rancilio Classe 5 from Italy, with separate HeyCafe grinders for each coffee.
What roast do you use?
Medium-dark, for full body with milk and over ice, and natural cocoa and jaggery sweetness.
