Cold brew, steeped for eighteen hours

Brew & Baker's's cold brew is our most-ordered drink after the classic cold coffee, and the one reviewers keep naming. Whisky barrel-aged Arabica is coarse-ground and steeped in cold water for eighteen hours, never heated, so it comes out smooth, strong and low in bitterness, with no sugar and no milk unless you add them.

It is made in South Bopal and delivered across west Ahmedabad on WhatsApp, Swiggy and Zomato. Drink it black, add milk, or try it with tonic or cranberry - the mixers are on the item page.

Why eighteen hours

Heat pulls the bitter compounds out of coffee fast; cold water pulls the sweet ones out slowly. Eighteen hours is where our beans reach full strength without the sourness a shorter steep leaves or the woodiness a longer one adds. The beans are the whisky barrel-aged lot we also sell by the kilo, so the oak notes are in the glass. It keeps in the fridge for a few days, which is why people order it in larger quantities for the week.
